Climate Change

 Yes, we have duties to protect future people from climate change. The "we" has many levels. It includes as individuals, we need to monitor what we use. The gas we put in our car, the stuff we put into the garbage instead of recycling, all of this potentially has an effect on future people. The businesses around us also have a big effect on climate change, they need to find alternatives to fossil fuels, they need to reduce the amount of plastic supplies they hand out, find better shipping materials such as packing peanuts that dissolve involve so they create no waste. Governments all the way down from local governments to federal governments need to be held to the same standards, they need to police everyone including themselves, and hold violators accountable. We all have a chance to help the future people, so why not take it?
